Methi & Dalia Kebabs

An easy to make dish which is not only yummy but also healthy! Perfect for parties and loved by all. Cooking Time: 30 minutes Ingredients: Methi leaves - 200 gms ( cleaned & chopped) 1 cup boiled daliya (broken wheat) 1/2 cup grated paneer 1 small boiled potato Salt to taste 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder 2 green chilies finely chopped (optional) 1/2 cup or more Bread crumbs Oil for frying Method: 1. Clean methi leaves and wash nicely. Keep in a colander so that excess water drains out. 2. Boil daliya in a pressure cooker without salt and adding just double the water as we don’t want it watery. 3. In a bowl mix mashed potato, grated paneer and all the masalas. 4. Now, add methi leaves and daliya (broken wheat) too into this mixture and mix well. 5. Next, add bread crumbs to the mix, so that the kababs don't fall apart and can be shaped nicely. 6. Rose Shaped Modaks

Ganesh Chaturthi special.. beautiful rose shaped modaks! Ingredients: 1 cup rice flour 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp oil For filling - 1/4 cup grated coconut 2 tbsp sugar 2 spn roohafza Method: 1. Take a pan and add 1/2 cup water to boil. Once boiled, add rice flour to it and mix vigorously. Let it cook for about two minutes. 2. Switch off the flame and cover it for 5 minutes. 3. For filling, take grated coconut in a pan and roast for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and keep stirring. 4. Add roohafza or any rose concentrate for the color n flavor. Keep filling aside to cool down. 5. Now, once it’s cooled down and is easy to handle, grease your hands and knead the rice dough well to get smooth texture. 6. Pinch little dough and roll it like a chapati on a flat surface. 7.
