Bhel Puri

Bhel Puri is Mumbai's famous street food which is enjoyed as a light snack. In the next party at your place, serve it in glasses with style. Ingredients: 4 cups puffed rice 1 cup nylon sev 1 cup coarsely crushed papdis 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 1/2 cup boiled and chopped potatoes 1/2 cup khajur imli ki chutney 4 tbsp green chutney 2 tsp fresh garlic chutney 1 tsp black salt 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander Leaves salt to taste For The Garnish - 4 tbsp coarsely crushed papdis 2 tbsp finely chopped raw mango 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently till all the ingredients are mixed well. Divide the bhel into 4 equal portions and garnish each portion with 1 tbsp of papdis, ½ tbsp of raw mango and ½ tbsp of coriander evenly over it.

How do you like to have a kachori -with chutney or aloo ki sabzi???? Aloo kachoris was our weekend lunch today accomplished with tangy green chutney and imli chutney   And serving in stem bowls was mind blowing Kachori - For the covering 500 gms maida 1 tsp crushed ajwain 1 tsp salt 2 tsp oil Water to knead Knead a soft dough by adding water slowly and keep it for 15-20 minutes to rest Filling - Take 2tsp oil in a pan Add 1 tsp mustard seed 1tsp crushes whole dhaniya seeds 2 tsp besan-stir to roast 1chopped Onion 1/2 tsp Garlic Stir and cook everything nicely Let the filling cool down before you fill in the kachoris How to make - Pinch a small ball of dough Roll a bit by pressing in the palms only Fill with little of the prepared mix Seal the edges and carefully press again in palms There shouldn't be any crack or opening, otherwise the filling will ooze out while frying.
