Eggless cake with a twist of jaggery!

Eggless Date & Walnut Cake

Ingredients:

Dates – 20-25 
Milk – 1 1/2 cup
All purpose flour – 1 1/2 cup
Baking soda – 1 1/2 tsp
Jaggery – 1 cup
Melted butter – 4 tbsp (use oil for vegan version)
Walnuts- 1/4 cup ( chopped)
Salt – 1/4 tsp

Method:

1. Grind dates and milk together to form smooth thick paste.

2. Transfer this to bowl. Add all purpose flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, melted butter and mix well.

3. Now add the chopped walnuts and mix well. 

Batter is ready.

4. Preheat the oven for 350 degree Grease the baking pan with butter.

5. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes or till knife inserted comes out clean.

6. Let it cool down completely even before you slice it.

Eggless Dates cake is now ready. Serve and enjoy!
