Gooey Eggless Brownies

Delicious, soft and gooey eggless brownies! Recipe by my friend - Sarika Mehta


Time Taken: 55 - 60 minutes (including baking time)

Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour - 3/4 cup
Granulated sugar - 1cup
Salt - 1/2tspn
Baking powder - 2 tspn
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/3 cup
Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup melted and cooled
Yogurt - 1/2 cup +2 tbspn more
Vanilla essence - 2 tspn
Walnuts - half cup

Method:

1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.

2. Prepare the tin with parchment paper and oil.

3. In a bowl sieve together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder.

4. Now, add sugar into it and mix well.

5. In another bowl, take the butter, curd and vanilla essence and mix till everything is incorporated nicely.

6. Next, add the dry ingredients and walnuts into this and mix with a light hand. Don't over mix the batter.

7. Now bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 180 degrees or till the tooth pick comes out clean.

8. Once done, cool the brownie completely on the wire rack before you remove it from the parchment paper and serve!
