Tamarind Mojito

I had some leftover tamarind pulp with me and I was thinking in what way I could use it.. and then the idea of using it to make a mojito struck me! Trust me, this drink is very easy to make and it was ready within minutes! Perfect for the summers!

Time taken: 20-30 minutes

Ingredients:

Tamarind paste (obtained from 1” tamarind soaked in hot water for 15-20 minutes, then strained to remove any seeds & chilled)
Any sweet soda drink (seven up or Mountain Dew)
4-5 mint leaves
1 lime, sliced
Ice cubes
1/2 tsp Black salt

Method:

1. First of all keep the soda drink and tamarind pulp/nectar well-chilled before making drink.

2. In a glass add muddled mint, tamarind pulp and one lime wedge together.
3. Add salt to it.
4.Fill the glass with ice.

5.Now pour the sweet soda drink into the glass.

This tamarind mojito will have tangy flavor due to the tamarind and sweetness from the soda.

Enjoy chilled!
