Mushroom in Tomato Sauce with Spaghetti
Time Taken: 25-30 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
1 cup cubes white mushrooms
1 1/2 olive Oil
1/2 tbsp minced garlic
2 crushed tomatoes
1/4 tsp ground thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp minced fresh parsley
250 grams spaghetti
Method:
1.Take a pan and add olive oil.
2. Add the chopped onions and mushrooms in the oil and cook. Stir occasionally.
3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and thyme. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Put spaghetti in salted water and let it boil. Don’t over cook.
7. Stir parsley into the prepared sauce. Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
