Pull Apart Garlic Rolls
Who doesn't love garlic bread? Famous all around the world, garlic bread is everyone's go to food item! Here I present to you garlic bread... but with a twist!
Ingredients for dough:
3 cups - All purpose flour (APF)
1 tbsp - dry yeast
1 tsp - salt
2 tbsp - sugar
3 tbsp - oil
1 cup - warm water (adjust as per requirement)
2-3 tsp - dried oregano
1 tsp - dried rosemary
Ingredients for garlic spread:
10tbsp - Unsalted butter
12 big cloves of garlic (grated)
2 tsp - Italian seasoning
Salt to taste
5 tbsp - finally chopped coriander leaves
Method:
1. Mix sugar and yeast with warm water and set this aside for 5 minutes. Allow it to foam up. Take flout, salt and oil in a bowl and mix well.
2. Pour yeast mix into the flour and mix well into a dough.
3. Cover it with plastic wrap or damp cloth and set it aside for 1 hour till it is doubled in size.
4. Mix all the ingredients for the garlic spread together till it forms a smooth paste.
5. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it for 5 minutes.
6. Roll the dough into a rough rectangle and spread the garlic spread over it.
7. Now roll this into a log and cut into equal portion.
8. Arrange this in a battered baking pan leaving little spaces between each of them. Then cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for around 60 minutes.
9. In the last 10 minutes of rising, start to preheat the oven to 200 degree celsius.
10. Now place this in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
11. Take it out and apply some butter over the top to give it a glossy shine.
Serve hot with soup or have it just by itself!
